Leading on Your Own Terms

Ten years ago, I found myself standing alone on a windswept beach, looking out at the North Sea.
It was my 25th wedding anniversary.
But I was alone.
No dinner reservation.
No partner.
No plan.
Just me.
My marriage was over.
And for the first time in a long time, I didn’t know what my future looked like.
I didn’t even know what I wanted or what options were out there.
I’d spent so many years as a wife and mother, then as a senior leader at work, that I’d lost touch with who I was outside of those roles. I had the title, the responsibilities, the projects.
From the outside, I was capable, respected. But inside?
I was full of self-doubt.
And questions I couldn’t shake:
💬“What do I want now that I can choose?”
💬"Who am I in the middle of all this?"
💬"And who do I want to be?"
I realised I had built a life full of “shoulds” some of them mine, most of them not.
During this time, I was also grieving.
💌A painful redundancy.
💌The devastating loss of a family member.
💌The end of a long relationship.
💌And the emotional weight of becoming a newly certified coach.
In the middle of all that, I gave myself permission to do something radical.
To pause.
To reflect.
To listen.
To reclaim.
Eventually, I moved to London, then Paris.
Not forever, just long enough to remember who I was underneath all the titles, responsibilities, and roles.
And that messy, emotional, liberating chapter became the foundation for everything I do now.
The Turning Point
Because through the women I was coaching, I realised that I wasn’t alone.
Many of the those smart, successful, high-achieving leaders were going through the same thing.
🚨 On paper, they had it all.
🚨 But inside, they were asking: “Who even am I now?”
🚨They were tired of success that didn’t feel satisfying.
🚨 They felt flattened by years of giving to everyone else.
🚨 They longed for something more, but couldn’t even name it.
Because leadership isn’t just about promotions or project plans.
It's about identity, desire, self-trust, and possibility.
It was about how we lead ourselves, and how we show up for our lives.
What Is RECLAIM?
RECLAIM isn’t just a product, a brand or a set of programmes.
It’s about saying no to living by other people’s rules and starting to lead your life.
On your terms.
It’s for women like you:
✨ Ambitious, capable, and experienced, but tired of putting everyone else first.
✨ Shrinking to fit systems that weren’t designed for you.
✨ Achieving success on paper, but quietly wondering why it doesn’t feel as fulfilling as you thought.
RECLAIM is about remembering who you are, and leading from that place; unapologetically.
Why RECLAIM?
The world often tells midlife women we’re “past it.”
Too old.
Too tired.
Too expensive.
That we should settle, stay quiet, and be grateful.
And that's simply not true.
Midlife women are a force.
We’ve navigated caregiving, career pivots, personal loss, menopause, burnout, and more. And we’re still here.
Still growing.
Still leading.
Still wanting more.
This is our time.
That’s why I created RECLAIM. To help you step fully into your power and lead on your own terms.
You don’t have to do it alone.
